Aim to create a set of new accommodation around a courtyard garden; achieved by recasting the boundary/retaining wall to the rear laneway and reinstating/splicing in the familiar domestic forms of lean-to and covered yard. Two roof forms define the arrangement connected by an eaves box beam/valley gutter that collects all rainwater from the back of the house and diverts it to a cast concrete cistern.
